Our Humble Beginning

Dianne Garcia, known by her closest friends and family as “D”. Immigrated from the Philippines to San Francisco at the age of 19. Having a reputation within her family as a home baker. Dianne fell in love with the new bakeries she explored. Drawing inspiration, Dianne began taste testing recipes in her tiny apartment. Dianne later moved from San Fran to Boston in 2020 and met Nick Rossi. One day, during the Covid pandemic. Dianne told Nick her dream of owning a bakery. Nick immediately introduced Dianne to Dawn Clancy, the owner of Curtis Street Bakers. Dawn taught Dianne that allergen free sweets did not have to sacrifice taste. Realizing the market need and desire for consumers to consciously choose healthier options, D’s Bakeshop was born in 2022.

From D’s Kitchen. To Your Plate.

D’s Bakeshop was crafted in a 450 square foot apartment. Each recipe comes with its own history of laughter, failure, late night inspiration and of course, messes to clean. Large scale production would not be possible without these special moments.
