Today, D’s Bakeshop presents to you a refreshing Gluten Free Overnight Oats 4 ways

Gluten-Free Overnight Oats (The Base)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Bob’s Red Mill Gluten-Free Rolled Oats

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, hemp seeds and/or flax seeds

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of your preference)

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • A pinch of salt

  • OPTIONAL: Feel free to add your favorite yogurt. About 2 Tablespoons

Instructions:

  1. In a mason jar or container, combine the oats, chia seeds, soy milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well to ensure all the ingredients are evenly mixed. For proper consistency, the soy milk should cover all the ingredients.

  2. Seal the jar or container and place it in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 4-6 hours, to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.

  3. The next morning, give the oats a good stir. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a splash of almond milk

Gluten Free Overnight Oats, 4 ways

  1. Very Berry Overnight Oats - Top your overnight oats with Raspberry, Strawberry & Blueberries. Feel free to utilize a berry flavored yogurt in your base to enhance the berry flavor.

  2. PB & Banana - Slice half a banana thin and use a tablespoon of your favorite peanut butter. Drizzle a little honey for extra sweetness.

  3. Chocolate Dream - When mixing the base add cocoa powder and mix well. For toppings add mini chocolate chips and/or a dab of nutella. (We understand this wont help with the summer body, but it is to delicious not to try!)

  4. Cinnamon Apple - Top your overnight oats with diced red apples and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Feel free to add a caramel drizzle to turn this into candied apple overnight oats.

Most importantly, play around with your own favorite flavors. You can add a variety of nuts, mango, protein powder, etc. Its all about you!

We hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do. It has truly become a staple in our lives.

Live balanced, live well & indulge mindfully! - D’s Bakeshop
